Why an originality score should never be the whole decision

Business-grade review combines overlap, match provenance, grammar signals, risk classification, and editorial judgment.

Organizations evaluating generative AI need more than model comparisons. They need a workable service boundary, a controlled adoption path, and an economic model that can be tested with their own demand.

The operating challenge

A single percentage compresses too much context. Ten percent overlap with a regulated disclaimer can be acceptable, while ten percent copied from a competitor’s distinctive explanation may require immediate remediation. Effective assurance therefore shows which passages matched, where the source originated, how much language was shared, and whether the content sits inside a high-risk publishing workflow.

The business response

Decision-ready dossiers help reviewers move from a score to an action. They separate current-batch duplication from historical corpus matches, identify readability concerns, and provide recommendations calibrated to the risk level. This reduces false alarms, accelerates low-risk approvals, and concentrates specialist attention where it creates the most value.

How the Plagasys API supports the model

Document content, title, comparison policy, and optional regeneration instruction. The service returns structured score, risk, evidence, source matches, trace id, and export-ready dossier data. Consuming applications use POST /api/v1/plagiarism, while provider selection, tenant policy, quota, and token accounting remain centrally managed.
